As Lent encourages us to dig deeper, to seek and to reflect, we often find new questions with the answers we’ve received. Let us support one another as we lean into discomfort, while we wade into discovery and challenge doubt. Our world is so full of tension, as we look for leaders locally and nationally. We pray for understanding and empathy as we see ignorance, hatred, and violence. May we use Lent to become closer with one another as we seek God in our lives and through his word, so together we can reap with songs of joy what we have sown with tears (Psalm 126:5).
Heavenly Father, teach us to be faithful in trial and in triumph. May we follow when we are certain and also when we are unsure.
